I provided the client with the classsical assets, like moodboard, storyboard and styleframes before even thinking at animation. We also did spend some time in the design fase, because we choose to go for a more abstract and illustrative style.
We chose to use the illustrative and abstract style, since this follows more the branding of itsme. This way, we would have a video that fits nicely into the new part of the website about Data Sharing.
Also this style suits better to explain some more complex storytelling and to avoid a too literal handling of the script.
itsme provided me with examples of their branding style and where they wanted to continue to use these in the video.
