We Belgians are proud to have invented the 'smos', extra vegetables on your daily bread is just so much better. So shouldn't we just 'smos' everything? Croque monsieur? Grill your paprika along and you have a smos monsieur. Pasta pesto? Put some cherry tomatoes on top and you have a pasta smosto. Just throw some vegetables on your lunch and ... smos everything!
But yes, vegetables! We all eat too less of them.
So how could VLAM, the Flanders institution for the promotion of the agriculture, horticulture and fisheries, teach their audience to turn their boring lunches into a vegetable feast?
With the help of Hakim Chatar, a young and promising television chef, we turned this quest into a video series with some easy peasy but very helpfull recipies, aimed for the social platforms.
